Last month, I started a new series called Taste of the Tropics and June's theme was plantain/raw banana.

I received a dozen entries.  Some were very familiar to me, as a plantain lover myself.  However, there were some very new recipes that I can't wait to try, like Sarika's Steamed Rice Cake.
